Greetings Witches!
Hope everyone is getting their costumes in order and their brooms tuned up.
I just wanted to touch base with everyone and share a wonderful event that is happening this Sunday October 12th. The Delray Beach Bicycle Club is having a Bicycle Safety Ride departing at 8 a.m. from Old School Square. This is a 1 hour ride in downtown Delray, designed to educate riders on traffic rules and safety practices. I am planning on riding. Who will join me for a practice run? This is a wonderful opportunity to get a feel for the roads, and your bike before the big day.
Also, next Wednesday October 15th at 4 p.m. is our tour of the Achievement Center. Come see firsthand where the money we donate goes and check out all the wonderful programs they provide for Delray’s most needy families. We may have an impromptu happy hour gathering afterwards if we have enough witches in attendance.
I rode our route again this past Monday morning (10/6/2014). I went about 15 minutes later than last week, and most of the school drop offs were winding down. I think we will need to meet around 6:45 and take flight at 7:15 sharp. Eeeek! That’s early! But if anyone can handle being early to rise, it’s us witches!
We are still accepting donations for our Witches Brew Happy Hour fundraiser at Tim Finnegan’s Irish pub October 24th. There will be raffles, silent auction, and prize drawings. If you would like to donate an item or service please contact me at via the “Contact” page on this web site.
Looks like our numbers are growing! We’re shaping up to be the best coven South Florida has ever seen!
